Lesson Plans - New Hampshire History Curriculum The New Hampshire Historical Society developed the first-ever
state history curriculum in partnership with Public Service of New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Department of Education,
and the New Hampshire Council for Making History Personal and Exciting Written by historian and educator Judith Moyer, the curriculum is a practical and user-friendly guide for integrating local history into social studies instruction. It provides a framework that brings the richness of New Hampshire history to classrooms at every grade level. Thanks to New Hampshire Public Television's Knowledge Network, book 1 of the curriculum for grades K-6 is available online. Plans are underway to place book 2 for grades 7-12 online, as well.
