INTERNSHIPS
The New Hampshire Historical Society is in the midst of a major initiative to digitize its collections and improve its catalog records. The Society is looking for archives and library interns to be a part of this exciting project.

Archives Interns

  • Research, write, and edit detailed finding aids
  • Create transcriptions of items within the Society’s collections
  • Write condition reports for the Society’s bound manuscripts collection
  • Digitize portions of the Society’s photograph collection
  • Perform data entry and editing within the cataloging software, MINT
  • Other projects as needed

Library Interns

  • Perform data entry and editing using MARC within the cataloging software, MINT
  • Create transcriptions of items within the Society’s collections
  • Other projects as needed

Archives and library interns will also gain reference experience by working in the Society’s reading room assisting members, researchers, and the general public.
