Manuscript Sampler Transcript of letter from John F. Kennedy to Bernard Boutin, dated September 2, 1960. From the New Hampshire Historical Society's collection, accession number: 1994-048. Dear Bernie: My brother, Bob, has told me of your attendance at our recent regional meeting. I want to express my appreciation for your participation as we are most anxious to achieve a record registration which in turn would assure a record Democratic vote on November 8th. You will be pleased to know all of the regional meetings to date have been well attended and enthusiasm is high. We are confident our goal will be achieved through the efforts of you and the other Democratic leaders throughout the country. As you know, the National Voter's Registration Committee is located at the Esso Building, 261 Constitution Avenue, Washington, D.C., telephone National 8-8206. The registration staff is available to you and would like to hear from you concerning registration progress in your area. Again, thank you for your continuing effort and I am looking forward to seeing you during the campaign. With every good wish, I am Sincerely, John F. Kennedy
