Institutional Membership
Since its founding in 1823, the New Hampshire Historical Society has maintained its financial independence
from state government and has relied on membership dues and contributions. The following benefits and
levels of membership are available for libraries and nonprofit organizations.
Library $40
- Free use of the Society's library for a representative conducting research on behalf of the member library
- A 15% discount on museum store purchases made by the member library
- Historical New Hampshire magazine (2 issues per year)
- Members-only newsletter published quarterly featuring information on exhibitions, programs, new publications, and special events
- Free or discounted admission rate for an individual attending a New Hampshire Historical Society program or workshop on behalf of the member library
Join or Renew
Library with Family Pass $60
- Free use of the Society's library for a representative conducting research on behalf of the member library
- A family admission pass which admits up to four adults or two adults with their children or grandchildren to any exhibition at the Society
- A 15% discount on museum store purchases made by the member library
- Historical New Hampshire magazine (2 issues per year)
- Members-only newsletter published quarterly featuring information on exhibitions, programs, new publications, and special events
- Free or discounted admission rate for an individual attending a New Hampshire Historical Society program or workshop on behalf of the member library

Nonprofit Organization/Local Historical Society $40
- Free use of the Society's library for a representative conducting research on behalf of the member organization
- Information on and reduced rates for technical workshops sponsored by the Society
- A 15% discount on museum store purchases made by the member organization
