A Mystery You Can Wear
Now you can wear the “Mystery Stone,” the New
Hampshire Historical Society’s most mysterious
and requested artifact. In 1872, construction
workers dug up a suspicious lump of clay near
the
shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, and Seneca A. Ladd
of Meredith discovered this intriguing carved
stone within a clay casing. Amateur and
professional archaeologists have speculated
about
the Mystery Stone’s origin for over one hundred
years. 100 percent cotton shirt with "Mystery
Stone" image on back and "New Hampshire
Historical Society" on front left chest.
Regularly $15.95; on sale for $5.
