The buildings are identified by street address and the name of the larger entity if they are part of a 'block' [as in “Exchange Block”]. Store names are self-evident from signs. For some buildings, name and dates of the builder or first owner and history of the building are given, and when a building was later demolished this is noted. Almost none of the images contain people.
