Hill" steamer and a group of men, presumably fire fighters, belonging to the Concord Fire Department in front of the Phenix Hotel in Concord, NH, dated May 15, 1874. The caption states, "Photograph made in front of Phenix Hotel May 15, 1874 'Gov. Hill' Purchased in spring of 1862 At a cost of $3000. made by Amoskeag Manufacturing Company Was in commission for twenty--one years Replaced 1883 by a new steamer by the same name 'Gov. Hill.'"
