Scope and Content: Photographic print of the Northern Railroad Hydrant and Hose Company taken in 1873 in Concord, NH. The caption states, "1868. 'Northern Railroad Hydrant and Hose Company,' No. 2 This company was connected with the 'Kearsarge Steam Company, they had ten men James N. Lauder, was the first Foreman. This photograph made in 1873. In this picture the man on the right is Mayor John Kimball The building is the old No. 4 station o the north side of Warren street, now the site of the Central Fire Station. This building was razed in the last of the year 1874."
