Scope and Content: The Silas Cummings Family Papers, 1808-1969, consists of general correspondence and papers relating to Silas Cummings, his wife, and the Stone and Cummings families. Silas Cummings was a physician in Fitzwilliam, NH. These papers include three volumes: one of receipts of drugs purchased, which are pasted into an old post office account book; one daily journal; and one containing the medical notes of Charles Cummings dated 1847. Also included are licenses, a will, correspondence, and a contract to build a house dated 1808.
