Scope and Content: Account book of Phinehas [Phineas] Clough a joiner and cabinetmaker of Hopkinton, NH. Includes entries on work on window frames and sashes, clapboards, six and seven panel doors, smoothing planes, as well as mentions of light stands, desks, and clock cases. On page 283 and 287, there are entries for providing planks, windows, and work on building the State House in Concord, NH. Also mentioned is his apprentice, Benjamin Emerson. This volume has a black cloth cover over leather with a 1.25" spine. A good portion of the account book was later used as a scrapbook with newspaper clippings glued on approximately 80% of the pages.
