Scope and Content: Photographic print of what Henry Moore misidentified as John E. Seabrook's house, actually William Seabrook's house, from the wharf on Edisto Island, SC. Taken by Henry P. Moore between April and May 1862, the image shows cotton is drying on the lawn from the wrecked brig Empire, four soldiers sitting in a boat on the right side of image, and two soldiers standing on the roof of the house's porch.
