Scope and Content: Mount Washington Cog Railway: Climbing to the Clouds was created and released by New Hampshire Public Television and the Mount Washington Cog Railway in 2015. The documentary explores the history of the Mount Washington Cog Railway, from his founding by Sylvester Marsh in 1869 to its current operations. In addition to the documentary, the DVD includes a time-lapse video of a ride on the Cog, a re-creation of a trip to the summit during Victorian times, a film of the 1929 excursion up the mountain with the original Peppersass engine, a slideshow of old-times riding the Devil's Shingle down the Cog track, an interview with the Cog Railway mechanical engineer and biodiesel locomotive designer (Al LaPrade), an interview with Cog historian and author (Donald Bray), and an interview with Cog historian and great-grandson of Sylvester Marsh.
