Scope and Content: The Records of the Congregational Church in Amherst, NH, Volume IV contains the records for the Church from 1911 to 1954. Records of the church include general records as well as lists of church members, baptisms, deaths, dismissals, and marriages. A Table of Contents is located in the front. General records of the Church include reports of the annual meeting, meeting minutes, meeting decisions, results of elections for officers and trustees, church statistics, programs, newspaper clippings, and pastor appointments and resignations. Later in the volume are complete lists of church members since January 1911 with the person's name, the date the person was admitted, how the person was admitted, and how the person left the church. Baptism lists include the name of the person, the date, and the person's parents. The end of the volume contains an insert, which is a graph of membership annotated with the name of the Church Pastor at the time.
