Scope and Content: Oath of allegiance to the United States of America and the State of New Hampshire and also denouncing obedience to King George III, taken by Colonel David Webster, Josiah Flagg, Jacob Abbot, and Peter Clement in front of Josiah Bartlett on December 29, 1781. There is also a handwritten note that Peter Clement took the above Oath and the Oath of Office as a Justice of the Peace for Rockingham County before Meshech Weare on December 5, 1782.
