The dramatic story of the creation of the New Hampshire Historical Society's 1911 landmark headquarters building and its benefactor Edward Tuck is told through this documentary film. Produced in 2011, in collaboration with New Hampshire Public Television and with support from the New Hampshire Humanities Council and Merrimack County Savings Bank, the 27-minute film includes interviews with author and filmmaker Dayton Duncan, Dartmouth history professor emeritus Jere Daniell, and former U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter about the role of history in our lives. DVD format.
