Admission

General Admission

Admission to the New Hampshire Historical Society is $7 for adults. Members of the New Hampshire Historical Society and children age 18 and under are admitted free of charge. Full-time students and active military personnel and their families also are admitted free of charge with a valid ID.

Blue Star Museums

The New Hampshire Historical Society is a member of Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s service members, including National Guard and Reserve, and their families.

Group Admission

As many groups visit the Society, especially during the school year, all adult groups (12 or more adults) and school or youth groups (6 or more children ages 3 to 18) must schedule their visit in advance. By scheduling in advance you will avoid possible disappointment if your visit coincides with other previously scheduled groups.

Adult Groups

The cost for a guided adult group tour is $7 per person, with an $84 minimum. A guided adult group tour is available only with advanced reservation.

School or Youth Groups

Although children accompanying adult family members are admitted to the Society at no charge, school groups of any size must be guided and scheduled in advance. The cost is $4 per child, with a $48 minimum. Youth groups, such as homeschoolers or scouts, of 6 or more children (ages 3 to 18), must also be guided and scheduled in advance. The cost is $4 per child, with a $24 minimum.
