New Hampshire State House Bicentennial Week Celebration
In conjunction with the New Hampshire State House Bicentennial Week Celebration, the New Hampshire Historical Society will offer free admission from Tuesday, June 4, through Saturday, June 8, 2019. Free guided tours of the Society's historic Park Street building and exhibitions will be offered on Saturday, June 8, at 10 a.m.,11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m. Led by a member of the Society’s education or volunteer docent staff, guided gallery tours are 45 minutes long and are appropriate for visitors of all ages. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis, and tours are capped at 12 people.
As many groups visit the Society, especially during the school year, all adult groups (12 or more adults) and school or youth groups (6 or more children ages 3 to 18) must schedule their visit in advance. By scheduling in advance you will avoid possible disappointment if your visit coincides with other previously scheduled groups.
The cost for a guided adult group tour is $7 per person, with an $84 minimum. A guided adult group tour is available only with advanced reservation.
School or Youth Groups
Although children accompanying adult family members are admitted to the Society at no charge, school and youth groups of 6 or more children (ages 3 to 18), including homeschoolers and scouts, must be guided and scheduled in advance. The cost is $4 per child, with a $24 minimum.
