Ways to Give
From its founding in 1823 the New Hampshire Historical Society has been built on membership, and today individual members remain the largest and most loyal source of support. Join or renew your membership, and help spread the word about the Society. Encourage friends and family who share our love of New Hampshire to join and consider giving gift memberships.
Gifts to the Annual Fund, made in addition to membership dues, support day-to-day operations and are vital to the Society’s work to save, preserve, and share New Hampshire’s history. From making the collections more accessible, to providing school and public programs, and publishing the only statewide journal devoted to New Hampshire history, a gift to the Annual Fund helps sustain the mission and collections you value and the programs you love.
Take your Annual Fund support to the next level by joining the Leaders Circle. Members of the Leaders Circle provide a dependable base of significant support for daily operations, helping to strengthen the Society’s ability to fulfill its mission. The Leaders Circle is comprised of individual donors who make unrestricted contributions of $1,200 or more to the Annual Fund each year. In appreciation of their ongoing stewardship support, Leaders Circle members enjoy these additional benefits: recognition in the New Hampshire Historical Society's annual report, updates from the Society's president, invitations to Leaders Circle events, and an annual membership in the Society.
Gifts to the Authors Fund help sustain the high quality and production of Historical New Hampshire, the Society’s award-winning journal. Past, current, and prospective authors are invited to contribute, as well as everyone who values and benefits from the publication.
Tribute gifts honor or remember a family member, recognize the achievement of a friend, or celebrate an anniversary or other special event.
