Sitter has short brown hair and mustache. Wearing a black coat, white shirt with high collar, points slightly folded, and black tie. Inkscription on reverse in black marker: "Edward Tuck". Unsigned. Unframed.

Provenance: The donor, S. Leroy French (1895-1974) of Chester, NH was grand-nephew of the sitter; son of Amos Tuck French (1863-1941) and the grandson of Ellen Tuck French (1838-1915), Edward's sister.
