Description: Communion Chalice. Silver plate. Cup has tall straight sides, slightly flared rim and molded band with raised pattern near simple, thin stem. Base is a flattened dome shape with a straight vertical rim. Markings: stamp with scale inside of shield surrounded by "MERIDEN. B / COMPANY / No.", in circle.

Provenance: Part of a communion set reportedly used in the Lady Altar of the All Saints Church in Peterborough, NH. It came to the NHHS either directly from the church or by way of Mary L. Cheney (Mrs. William Henry) Schofield who was the donor of the church and much of its property.
