Description: Spoon. Silver plated. Flat-ended handle, with slightly upturned end, and reeded pattern. Egg-shaped bowl. Handle front engraved "REDHOUSE", in upper-case roman letters, incuse. Handle back engraved "CONCORD,N.H.", in upper-case roman letters incuse, and "INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO", in upper-case sans-serif letters, incuse.

Provenance: Gift of N.H.H.S. volunteer researcher, Joan Jones, who purchased the spoon at a New Hampshire antique shop. The
Redhouse Tea Room & Gift Shop was located at 24 Warren St., Concord, N.H., Russell Derby proprietor (Concord, N.H. Directory of 1932). Russell Derby (1890-1972) was the son of Concord, N.H. jeweler James Clare Derby (1867-1923).
