Description: Communion Plate. Silver plate. One of a pair. Flat bottomed, stepped up bouge, and wide, upsloping rim with turned under edge. Marking: stamped in center of bottom, "MERIDEN / B.COMPANY" surrounding a scale inside a shield.

Provenance: Part of a communion set reportedly used in the Lady Altar of the All Saints Church in Peterborough, NH. It came to the NHHS either directly from the church or by way of Mrs. William H. Schofield who was the donor of the church and much of its property.
