George C. Soule The George C. Soule Collection is composed of works by artist and architect George C. Soule (1914–2008) of Manchester, New Hampshire. The collection includes drawings related to Soule’s life as a Civilian Conservation Corps worker from 1935 to 1937, and renderings of New Hampshire banks, churches, schools, and businesses designed from 1955 to 1980. The images showcased in this online exhibition are a sampling from this collection of 324 works donated to the New Hampshire Historical Society in 2009 by Soule’s children—Patricia, Cynthia, and Peter Soule.
