About the Store
The New Hampshire Historical Society's online store helps further and support the Society's mission to save, preserve, and share New Hampshire's history. Each purchase from our online store directly supports the Society's mission. Our merchandise selection focuses primarily on the Society's own publications and products. We also carry other products and publications that are based on or feature the Society's collections, or that relate to the Society's mission and programs.
How to Order
Orders may be placed in three ways:
- Online with a credit card
- By telephone at 603-228-6688 with a credit card
- By mail with a check made payable to the New Hampshire Historical Society

All payments must be in U.S. dollars. Online and telephone orders must be made by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit cards. Mail orders may be made by credit card or check payable to the New Hampshire Historical Society.
Delivery and Pick-Up Options
When ordering you'll have the option to have your order shipped or to pick it up at the New Hampshire Historical Society, 30 Park Street, Concord, NH.
Orders are processed within five business days, both for shipping or pick-up options. We do not process orders on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays. If there is a delay in fufilling your order, we will contact you by telephone or email. Items are charged to your credit card as they are shipped or when they are picked up.
Picking Up Your Order
If you want to pick up your order, chose that option in the online shopping cart or tell us when making your order by telephone. All in-stock items are processed within five business days, and we will notify you by email or telephone when your order is ready to be picked up. After you receive notification that your order is ready, you may pick it up at the main reception desk of the New Hampshire Historical Society, 30 Park Street, Concord, NH. Pick-up is available Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All in-stock items are shipped using USPS Priority Mail within five business days. We do not process or ship orders on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays. If there is a delay in fulfilling your order, we will contact you by telephone or email. Items are charged to your credit card as they are shipped. All items may not be shipped at the same time or included in the same package. We are unable to ship purchases outside of the United States.
Shipping and Handling Fee
A $10 shipping and handling fee will be charged to all orders.
Returns and Exchanges
If you receive merchandise that is damaged or defective, please call the Society at 603-228-6688 or email email@example.com. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, merchandise will be accepted for exchange or refund within 60 days if accompanied by a sales receipt. Audio and video products may only be returned if found defective or unopened. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. To arrange for a refund or exchange, call 603-228-6688 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. When shipping an item to the Society for an exchange or refund, please send your insured shipment to: Store, New Hampshire Historical Society, 30 Park Street, Concord, NH 03301.
The New Hampshire Historical Society reserves the right to change or modify its prices, billing methods, or other terms and conditions applicable to store purchases.
