Description: Lamp, brass, glass. Heavy, rounded bombe-shaped reservoir with flat bottom and 0.50" diameter threaded rod sticking out bottom. Heavy knurled knob threaded to screw over shaft. Top of reservoir is straight side with two pins sticking out that engage a brass collar attached to thick glass chimney. At very top of base is small brass burner with flat wick tube and adjusting knob. Burner unit threads directly into body. At base of heavy glass chimney is flat-sided section with L-shaped slots that lock onto base of burner. 14 small holes around edge of chimney collar. Chimney held in place with plaster. Chimney squat and wide and tapers to top opening 1.75" in diameter. No markings on body or chimney. On wick adjusting shaft is flat, knurled knob. Stamped into side of knob: "MERIDEN. E. MILLER & CO." Then on inside: "CONN."
