Two men stand beside the entrance while two men and a boy sit in the windows on the second floor. Caption reads: "First office of Jackman & Land; Over No. 55 North Main Street. Charles L. Jackman, Charles Sherburne & Capt. Lyman Jackman, seated in windows. Charles Sherburne married my mother's best girl friend, Alice Danforth. They later moved to Schenectady New York where he went into insurance business. Boy in window is Charles L. Jacman [Jackman]."
