Scope and Content: Notice of resolutions in the New Hampshire House of Representatives on March 3, 1786, printed by David Fowle and signed by Christopher Toppan, John Langdon, and Joseph Pearson. The resolution states that the selectmen of the towns, districts, and parishes in New Hampshire must make a census of their district to the Secretary of State by the second Wednesday of next June. If not done, the selectmen must forfeit their pay and pay a fine of 5 pounds.
