Scope and Content: The Robert O. Blood Papers, 1917-1954, are composed of items related to Blood's military service and Blood's time as Governor of New Hampshire. The majority of the collection is military material that includes correspondence, orders, and records. There is some correspondence from Blood's time as Governor, which also contains letters and newspaper accounts of the passing of Blood's daughter, Emily, in 1943.
