Scope and Content: Letter from Abraham and Hannah Clements in Hampton, NH, to her father Edward Gove, who is a prisoner in the tower or elsewhere, dated January 31, 1686. In the letter, the Clements state they have been praying that Gove is in good health and also have been praying for strength to support them. They also state they have a little daughter and that Abraham has a cough.
