Scope and Content: 1) Letter from William Plumer, Jr., Epping, N.H. to "Dear Sir", stating that he has not received a map of N.H. which was supposedly sent to him. 2) Letter from Samuel Bell, Chester, N.H. to S.D. Ingham, Secretary of the State of Pennsylvania acknowledging receipt of 3 copies of the laws passed in last session of PA's legislature. 3) Letter from Matthew Harvey, Concord , N.H. to John B. Pollock, stating that he has not received a map of N.H. which was supposedly sent to him. 4) Letter to A.P. Balch, signed by Onslow Stearns as President of Northern Railroad, Boston, along with the presidents of 3 other railroads. Agrees to allow Balch to ship supplies & workmen over their respective railroads free of charge in return for building a railroad from the Canada Line to the Grand Trunk Railway at Lenoxville.
