Custom-designed tote bag based on an original poster in the New Hampshire Historical Society's collection. The poster was created around 1954 by artist Alice Cosgrove (1907-1971) of Concord, NH. As New Hampshire’s official state artist, Cosgrove helped mold the state’s image in the years after World War II and gave visual life to “Chippa Granite,” who promoted New Hampshire products and scenery. The tote bag measures 18" wide by 13" high, and is made by Enviro-tote, Inc., of Bedford, NH, of 100% recycled materials.
