Scope and Content: Jeremiah Fogg was paymaster, Captain and Aide-de-Camp to Col. George Reid, the 2nd N.H. Regiment. Journal gives vivid description of expedition which set out from Tioga, Pa. and marched through the Iroquois territory in the Finger Lakes region of New York, burning villages and crops. Returned to Tioga, Aug. 30th, the expedition a success although no prisoners were taken.
