Scope and Content: Series VI contains 143 loose photographic prints primarily by Ralph C. Larrabee and others, including Henry Orne of Melrose, MA. The images were taken between approximately 1910 and 1933. Many of the prints in this series are unidentified, but include images of men, women, and children hiking companions; portraits of Ralph C. Larrabee; mountains, including Mount Washington; cottages; camps; wildlife; the Appalachian Mountain Club Woodlot; and hiking trails. The last folder in this series contains photocopies of Ralph C. Larrabee's newspaper obituaries and a brief person sketch to be reviewed for “Who's Who in New England.” The photographs in this series come from four albums - Volume II: Mountains/Glass Plate Negatives; Volume III: Mountains/Film Negatives; Volume IV: Mountains/People; and Volume V: AMC Woodlot Duplicates.
