Scope and Content: Scrapbook on the Plumer/Plummer family of Meredith, NH, with materials dating from 1876 to 1942. The scrapbook contains family genealogy, cemetery inscriptions, some family correspondence, a business card, a brochure, and newspaper clippings. Also included throughout are photographs of family members, cemeteries, and houses. One newspaper clipping details "Hermit Joe" [Joseph Plummer] of Sanbornton, NH. The majority of clippings are about Georges Clemenceau, who married Mary E. Plummer of Springfield, MA, and their daughter Madeleine Clemenceau Jacquemaire's lectures. There are also several clippings on the death of Anna L. Pattee, wife of Dr. Fred Lewis Pattee, a professor at Pennsylvania State College. Some of the other names included in the scrapbook are: Anderson, Buchanan, and Kelley.
